At the tail of the 2007–08 financial crisis, a Pittsburgh summit in 2009 saw the G20 nations prescribe central counterparty clearing for all standardised derivatives contracts. This led to the publication in 2012 of the Principles for Financial Market Infrastructures – igniting a burst of stability-oriented regulation at global scale. 15 years later, there is a desire in the market to shift focus towards competitiveness and efficiency, though geopolitical concerns across the different jurisdictions are adding complexity. Join this high-level session for the ultimate temperature check on clearing in 2024.

Adding a session to your personal schedule does not commit you to attend (except for the dinner or exclusive sessions where very clearly communicated). Conversely, it does not guarantee your seat, so come in good time where you suspect a full room.
