About me

Mr Hervé began his career with BNP Paribas where he worked in Paris, New York and London and held different roles in the field of market risk before spending a number of years in the Equity Derivatives arm of the bank as an Equity Finance Trader. In 2012 he moved to the French Central Bank working on the regulation of derivatives and the supervision of CCPs. Since 2017 Mr Hervé works on derivatives, CCPs and collateral at the European Commission in the Financial Markets Infrastructure Unit of DG FISMA.

My organisation

The European Commission is the executive branch of the European Union, it is responsible for proposing legislation, implementing decisions, upholding the EU treaties, and managing the day-to-day business of the EU. Our goal is to promote the general interest of the EU by working towards a more prosperous, sustainable, and inclusive Europe. We oversee a wide range of policy areas, from trade and competition to environment and digital innovation, to ensure the EU functions smoothly and effectively for its member states and citizens.
