Observing that Europe is more complex than North America is the easy bit. Now, the question is still what action we should take when it comes to shortening the settlement cycle – in the EU, the UK, and elsewhere. Could the UK go first into T+1, or would the market prefer coordination with the EU? And indeed, when will we be ready for it at all? Three months into the American T+1 outcome, let’s meet up to take the temperature on Europe’s attitudes and circumstances.

Moderator: Max Chan, EACH.

The new format of the PostTrade 360° conference allows us to go deeper than ever into the systemic details. While this session looks at Europe’s own possible moves towards T+1 settlement in its markets, also don’t miss this other session that looks back at the outcome for European stakeholders of America’s transition in May.

Adding a session to your personal schedule does not commit you to attend (except for the dinner or exclusive sessions where very clearly communicated). Conversely, it does not guarantee your seat, so come in good time where you suspect a full room.
