About me

John Erikmats is a specialist within the Sustainability team that oversees all sustainability and ownership activities within the asset management divisions mutual funds, discretionary mandates, and investment advisory activities.

John is leading the work with sustainability integration into investments including the design of models and procurement of data. John is also a SEB groupwide Subject Matter Expert on SFDR and participates in regulatory consultations via written responses via SEB’s representation in the Swedish Investment Fund Association and on the Platform for Sustainable Finance.

John has been with SEB and SEB Asset Management since 2022, working with sustainability-related activities. John joined from AMF Funds & Pension where he had a highly operational role in relation to sustainability and performance.

My organisation

SEB Asset Management offers asset management services through a broad range of funds and tailored portfolio mandates to institutional investors, as well as retail and Private Banking customers. The operations are carried out in Sweden, Denmark and Finland, as well as in the Baltic countries.

SEB Asset Management is one of the largest asset managers in the Nordics. We offer a broad range of funds and tailored portfolios for institutional investors, as well as retail and private banking clients. Sustainability is an integral part of all of our investment decisions.

We manage close to SEK 1,221bn (as of 30 June 2024) for both private individuals and institutional investors, through more than 150 funds.

Our asset management activities range from broad solution products to niche funds in asset classes such as equities, fixed income securities, hedge funds, commodities and Private Equity.
