About me
Adam Watson is Global Head of Commercial Product for Custody at BNY Mellon. In this capacity, Adam oversees all commercial aspects of the bank’s custody capabilities and solutions, providing market intelligence and actionable insights to institutional clients globally, including 97% of the top 100 banks worldwide.
With an eye towards digitization, Adam and his team are responsible for the conceptual development of new technology solutions in collaboration with clients and FinTech partners to achieve strategic agility, operational efficiency, innovation and positive operating leverage.
Prior to joining BNY Mellon in November 2020, Adam was a Commercial Product Manager for custody at J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, focusing on innovative solutions for large public and corporate pension funds, insurance providers and institutional asset managers.
Adam has over 17 years of industry experience and has spent time working in equity derivatives, ETFs, middle office and sales before moving into global custody. Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Finance and Law from Bournemouth University in England.
