Today’s action in corporate actions

Carrying proxy nominations or other corporate-action messages between issuer corporation and end investor was never easy, and with the time pressure introduced by SRD II (the second generation of the EU’s Shareholder Rights Directive), the challenge for custodians and other actors along the chain has gone from bad to more-intensely-bad. From the other side, technology vendors claim to offer relief. So how is the area developing, in terms of solutions, process efficiencies … and eventually new capabilities and rights for the end users on the issuer and investor sides?
