(Block Track) The current practice, and promise, of DLT in ISSUANCE

Stakeholders sharing a “golden source” of data – replacing all the need to shovel documents – is one vision that issuance based on distributed ledger technology might just make real. Then, indeed, when the issued securites themselves can be loaded with smart contracts to execute the cashflows that result from them, the whole post-trade section of the life-cycle could change radically as a consequence.
The progress today is rapid, so where is reality at in September 2024, and what could be efficient approaches for us as market participants from here on?

Adding a session to your personal schedule does not commit you to attend (except for the dinner or exclusive sessions where very clearly communicated). Conversely, it does not guarantee your seat, so come in good time where you suspect a full room.
